Pulsed Light Acne Treatments

Lexli Skin Care Clinic offers Palomar Pulsed Light Acne Treatment as an effective alternative to oral topical acne medications. The pulsed light system is similar to laser treatments, however the light spreads over a wider area of skin to allow faster coverage and quicker treatments.
Treatments provide an attack on acne on two fronts:
•    Destroys acne bacteria for quick clearance of current acne breakouts
•    Penetrates into the hyperactive sebaceous glands to slow down the production of 
           sebum, which can clog pores and cause future acne breakouts.
The result is fast resolution of current breakouts and a long remission time between treatments, without any drug-r&elated side effects.
What to expect: Your licensed professional will move a hand piece over your skin sending pulses of light through the skin. A flashing light, audible tone, and mild sensation on the skin will tell you when the hand piece is being pulsed. The sensation produces little to no discomfort.
